A Look That Stands the Test of Time

Women’s clothing styles are cyclical by their very nature. A pair of shoes or slacks that are considered all the rage one season could constitute a major fashion faux pas the next. Runway models from such far-flung places as Paris and Milan often set the tone for ladies’ fashion, and what is popular in France this year might not reach American shores until 2010.
While foreign fashions come and go, a few classic looks remain suitable for any season and any decade. The pink camo shirt is a play on traditional American military fatigues; it’s a playful look that suggests physical toughness and an independent spirit. Still, the pink shading conveys an unmistakable feminine sensibility. Basically, it’s a look that won’t go stale or look ridiculous in a few months’ time.
